Flexocraft announces new ownership
Making prepress plates for the Flexo Industry may not be rocket science, but with new technology and the sale of Flexocraft Inc., to Flexocaft LLC completed, the beginning of a new era is unfolding with almost as much impact.
Most importantly, Flexocraft has now introduced our new wide web photo polymer capabilities with the purchase of Flexolight 60-inch x 50-inch plate maker This, of course, allows us to take on larger jobs with more efficiency
And during the transition, we replaced old equipment with the latest technology. We also sent our staff to be trained in the latest methods with this equipment, an efficient means to help our customers reach their goals at lower costs.
This was not added at the expense of our other plates. Flexocraft continues to support our magnesium etching abilities in prepress and also has expanded into hot mold rubber and embossing dies. Flexocraft’s rubber mold presses will continued to make prepress rubber plates in synthetic and natural rubber. We also will continue to support all the needs of the rubber prepress industry including Mag-back rubber plates for those presses that require them.
We will continue to address the narrow web presses with our new HD high definition narrow web plates. Flexocraft has invested in new water wash technology that will allow us to stay in the front lines in the letter press industry. All of this would not be possible without our upgraded art department and our Clemson University trained staff who have completed course work in Flexographic technology.
